Hacking History

Organised by Digital Scholarship at Oxford, the Centre for Digital Scholarship, and the Jesus College Digital Hub. With support from Gale.

Join us for the Hacking History workshop on Tuesday 13th May. In this free workshop you'll learn and practice new digital scholarship methodologies.

Participants will work in groups, using Gale's Digital Scholar Lab to answer a research question, all the way through to presenting their findings.

We'll be asking you to let us know how confident you already are with digital humanities research methods - we'll be running some parallel workshop strands to accommodate all levels.

The workshop will begin at 9, and finish at 4. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Register to attend

After the Hackathon, the Gale Oxford Fellows will deliver Lightning Talks in which they provide brief snapshots of their current digital humanities research, offering inspiration in the ways Text and Data Mining can unlock unique and innovative research.
