Retrocomputing and Digital Preservation

Step into our digital past with the Bodleian Libraries’ store of digital technology and memorabilia. Join us at this hands-on event for the chance to explore items used by the Libraries’ digital preservation team, including a BBC Micro, Windows 98 machine, Sony Walkman and Mavica Floppy Disk camera. Discover more about the fascinating stories behind these pieces of technology and share your thoughts over tea, coffee and pastries.

Do you have any retro tech? Tell us your stories and feel free to bring along and showcase your iPods, Game Boys and more, as we explore how the past continues to shape our digital future.

Event organised by the Centre for Digital Scholarship and Bodleian Health Care Libraries
